Year 11 Next Steps

This week, Mrs Poole delivered an inspiring Careers Launch Assembly, setting the stage for an ambitious future for all our students.
The assembly outlined our Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) provision, designed so every student has the tools, confidence, and direction needed to navigate their next steps successfully.
We want every young person to feel confident about their future, whatever path they choose to take.
Throughout the year, students will get practical, hands-on help with writing CVs, filling out applications, and putting together personal statements. We are also planning trips to local colleges, sixth forms, and apprenticeship providers. This gives students a chance to see what options are out there and talk directly with people working in different industries.
Students also have full access to Unifrog. It is an easy-to-use website where they can look up courses, explore different careers, and keep track of their plans all in one place.
We believe that every single student has amazing potential. When we set high expectations and offer steady support, great things happen.
We will share more details for Year 11 families in the coming weeks as we work together to help every student RISE at Co-op Academy Strinesdale. It takes a community to help our young people thrive, and we look forward to working alongside you every step of the way.
